From Coaching Pitch Competitors to Competing

My Debut at the SCORE Powerhouse Pitch Competition!

The Academy/Corner to Corner Family was in the building & represented!

Last Tuesday, I had the opportunity to compete alongside over 40 incredible women entrepreneurs in Tennessee at the Score Powerhouse Pitch competition at Lipscomb University in Nashville. Although I didn't place in the top 10, I'm SUPER proud of the many women who did!

As a participant, I will have a vendor booth at the big competition July 25, showcasing Media Circus Publicity's publicity events for 2024-2025. Ayeeee!!!!! Each participant will be there featuring their business and networking with guests. This will truly be a celebration of resourceful and driven women who have turned their passion into a business.

Ten women were chosen to go to the finals on July 25th, and of those, Corner To Corner had five finalists. Congratulations to everyone who participated, and a special shoutout to A.D. Thomas, ChiQuita L. Kirby-Green, LaTonnsya Burney, Reading with Netta, and Kayla Ransom for making it to the finals! I'm so proud of you ladies!

This was my first time being a contestant in a pitching contest, although I've coached other entrepreneurs in pitch competitions. I will be joining more competitions in the future based on the great experience I had with this one hosted by SCORE Nashville.
