Celebrating Juneteenth: Amplifying Black Stories
On this Juneteenth, I wanted to take a moment to emphasize the urgent need for more Black stories in the media.
Representation matters. It shapes our perceptions, influences our understanding, and inspires positive change. However, the underrepresentation of Black stories perpetuates a narrative void that must be addressed.
This is why I am committed to bridging the gap in matters of diversity, equity, and inclusion when it comes to representation in media. I create many products and services that specifically support Black entrepreneurs, experts, authors and coaches, ensuring that their voices are heard and their stories are shared.
This Juneteenth, let us come together to honor the past, celebrate the present, and work towards a future where Black stories are embraced and given the platform they deserve.
